My UK Beauty Wish List

11:41 AM

I have a pretty exciting adventure coming up! On June 16, I'll be flying across the pond and exploring Dublin, Edinburgh and London for three weeks (eeee!). It's been a dream of mine my whole life to explore Europe, and although I'm only checking out a couple of countries, I'm still super excited!

I'm looking forward to doing some shopping while I'm over there, and this "beauty wish list" includes products that I'm hoping to pick up!

If you know of any sights/restaurants/shops that I should check out on my trip, please leave it in the comments! I need all the suggestions I can get.

1. Ever since I saw Tanya Burr wearing this eye shadow stick in one of her vlogs, I've been determined to get my hands on it. I think most people had the same idea because it's sold out almost everywhere online.

2. I know that Soap & Glory products are available in Canada, but they definitely don't have the same range of makeup that is available at Boots in the UK! I'm excited to pick up a few items.

3. Ever since Wayne Goss raved about this as being a "wonder primer" I've always had it in my sights (it's called the YouTube effect). Kiehls is much more readily available overseas

4. If you haven't been able to tell already, I kind of have an infatuation with British bloggers. Whenever I see a "favourite mask" post, this is always at the top of their lists.

5. I want to pick up a Diptyque candle solely to see what the hype is all about.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm

6. Again, this is a super hyped product (you can probably sense a theme in this post). I've never tried a balm cleanser so I figure I may as well try the most popular!

7. Oh, weird. Another "cult product." I'm definitely new into the whole contouring world, and I hear this is an amazing place to start!

Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray

8. I'm a bit skeptical that this may be just a glorified (and super pricey) dry shampoo, but it's raved about for it's instant volume and I'm definitely in need of that.

This Works Deep Sleep products

9. I've always been a troubled sleeper, so I can use all the help I can get. I'm excited to get my hands on some of these This Works products. Let's just hope they hold true to the name.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics

10. I can't possibly visit London without picking up a couple products by Miss Tanya Burr herself. And even apart from the brand association, I've heard her lip glosses and nail polishes are actually quite lovely!

Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream

11. Give me anything with Vanilla in the name and I'm bound to like it. This is another "cult" skin care product that I plan on bringing home with me.

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint

12. This is another product that is raved about. My skin can be quite oily in the summer so I'm hoping that this will help to keep that at bay!

13. This just sounds cool. A water colour fluid blush? yep.

Barry M Nail Polishes

14. This polishes come in amazing colours and apparently have a great formula. Definitely coming home with a couple.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush

15. Whenever a British Beauty names their favourite affordable cream "blusher", this is always on the list.

Sleek Makeup Products

16. I'm excited to try some products from Sleek (as a brand, not just the blushes!). I hear they are a great drugstore alternative to more expensive brands.

...and that's my list! I know I'll probably end up coming home with some other items, but these are the products that i'll be keeping an eye out for.

Be sure to check back for blog posts of my trip!
