An Ode to Bad to the Bronze

6:55 PM

I'd say I'm pretty equal when it comes to buying products from the drugstore vs. opting for a more high end purchase. I think that you can find a good quality version of just about every makeup product at the drugstore for a reasonable price. Concealers? Yep. Foundations? Oui! Lipsticks? Most definitely!

However, there is one product that I find lacks at the drugstore in quality - and that is eye shadow. Well, I don't know if they lack in quality as much as more expensive brands just make really damn good shadows.

My lovelies, today I am going to tell you about my one true exception. I could even go as far as saying that this is my favourite eye shadow ever - and it's from the drugstore! *shock horror!*

Maybelline Bad to the Bronze is as close to a perfect cream shadow as you're going to get (in my opinion!).

But why do I love it so much? Let me count the ways.

It's creamy and pigmented. It doesn't crease nor has it dried out, after owning it for close to a year. It's long-wearing and blends easily. It can act as a base or can be worn on it's own. It suits every skin tone. It costs between $5-$10 (depending on where you purchase it).

What more can you ask for?

Oh, Bad to the Bronze, How I love thee. You are so, so, worth the hype.
