October Favourites

8:18 PM

Happy November! It's hard to believe that October has come and gone faster than you could say "Boo!" This time of year always flies by quicker than the rest. It's definitely the most exciting time of year (for me, at least), because all kinds of happy things are jam-packed into a couple of months. Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas. YAY.

Anywhoooo, time to discuss a few of my favourite things from the last month. Some old, some new.
Here we go.

My first, and potentially most exciting favourite has been my new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette. When this was first released, I debated whether or not I should buy it. It looked so beautiful, but it was also way more money than I've ever spent on blush before. I guess you can see which decision won out! And I don't regret a thing. This beauty has been on my cheeks every day since I bought it. It is one of the most beautiful, high quality products that I've ever owned.

Love, love, love.
My second favourite is something that I picked up in Dublin. I'd seen rants and raves about the Soap and Glory Solar Powder Bronzer for a while, so I knew it was something that I had to try out. Because of the dual shades, it is known for being a very complimentary bronzer for pale skin, which is perfect for me. It has probably become my favourite bronzer of all time.

Only negative? I'm not sure where you can purchase this product in Canada :( (both in store and online). If you know a link or store, please let me know!

Next, the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - an oldie but a goodie. I've been wearing this old faithful almost everyday this month. I forgot how much I loved it.

Although I've only owned this product for a week, I think I can include it in my October favourites. Right? Right! The reasons I love it so much? The price, pigmentation and long-lasting formula. You can now pick up Flower Beauty products at your local Walmart (if you live in Canada).

I think it's safe to say that I've found a new favourite mascara, even if I've only ever owned the sample sized. The Tarte Gifted Mascara, available at Sephora, has me doing double-takes of my lashes in the mirror. It's hard to describe how lovely it is. I'm definitely going to have to purchase the full size once this little guy dries up.

We are quickly approaching the season of red lips, so I thought I'd get a head start with this lovely product. BITE Beauty is a brand that has been getting a lot of hype lately on ze interwebs, and rightly so, I do believe. I've worn their high pigment matte pencil in Pomegranate religiously throughout the month of October.

I've been try to switch it up from my normal black or brown eyeliner this month. I've been enjoying wearing this Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal (mouthful) in Purple quite a bit throughout the month. I think these pencils are an amazing drugstore eyeliner option.

Finally, as a bath lover, I've really been enjoying the Dr. Teal's Relax&Relief Foaming Bath (I forgot to do a close up, but you can see the bottle in the first photo of this post). The Eucaplytus and Spearmint scent was a life saver when I was suffering from a cold earlier this month. It is super affordable and you can pick it up at Walmart! It's just as good as any expensive bubble bath that I've ever used.

Well, those are my favourites from October! What have you been enjoying this month?
