Another month bites the dust. And another one gone, and another one gone, another month bites the dust. HYUHHHHH.
I apologize for getting that little tune stuck in your head, but it's a fact. July has come and pretty much gone, and it's time to move into August. So that means it's time for another monthly roundup of a few of my favourite things!
This month's favourites are pretty simple.
I plan on doing a more in-depth blog post about this pricey sponge in the near future, but here is a little spoiler: it's pretty freakin' awesome! I'll keep the details of why I love it for an upcoming review!
Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 'Tu-tu Turquoise'
Me? Colour? ON THE EYES? In the words of Grace Helbig, "whaaaaaaaaat?"
Yes, my dear blog readers, I've been experimenting with a bit of brightness around the eyes and this affordable, pigmented liner has been a great option for "colour exploration." Can that be a new beauty term? Yes? No? Okay.
CoverGirl the Super Sizer Mascara
This is the best drugstore mascara I have tried in ages. It's extremely lengthening, lasts all day and is an all around winner in my books.
MAC Lipstick in 'Syrup'
This has quickly become my "everyday" lipstick. If I were to ever permanently tattoo my lips (I have quite the imagination), I would bring this natural mauve shade with me as a reference colour. Yep. I like it that much.
For your shopping needs, the Covergirl and Essence products are available at Shoppers Drugmart. Lipstick is available at MAC stores and online. You can pick up the Beauty Blender at your local Sephora or a variety of online beauty sites.
I hope you have all had a wonderful July! Now let's make the most out of the rest of summer (weh).
