Current Makeup Wish List

9:42 PM

In 2015, I made a mini resolution that I would try to keep my expensive makeup purchases to a minimum. That doesn't mean a girl can't dream, right?

Here is a round up of the new(ish) products that I've been lusting over lately.

1. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: The newest foundation launch from Too Faced has been making it's rounds in the blog/vlog world, and boy does it look intriguing. It supposed to provide a natural 'I WOKE UP LIKE DIS' coverage, and not breakout oily skin. I don't buy foundations very often, but I may have to break my "no-buy" for this one. Available at Sephora.

2. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop: This Becca collaboration with Jaclyn Hill is perhaps the most-talked about product on the internet, so I won't ramble on too much. All I know is that I swatched this gorgeous highlight on my hand while at Sephora a couple of weeks back (they only had the tester left, because it's sold out everywhere!) and it was stammeringly pretty. It's another product that I may have to break down and pickup before it's gone (since it's limited edition). Man, my willpower is diminishing quickly in this post.

3. Clinique Just Browsing Volumizing Brow Mousse: I'm intrigued by pretty much any tinted brow gel/mousse/hybrid and this newest release from Clinique looks like it'll be a good'un. Available at Shoppers, Sears, the Bay, Sephora.

4. Stila Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush: This unique launch from Stila caught my eye the moment I saw it on their Instagram page. I've always lusted after the watercolor blushes by Daniel Sandler, and these look like they have an equally gorgeous effect, but are more readily available than the former. Available at some Shoppers and Sephora.

5. It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream: If anybody knows how to get a hold of It Cosmetics in Canada, hook a lady up. I've heard great things about this brand (which is only available in the States, I think?) and would love to test out their CC cream purely for the fact that it contains an SPF of 50+. That's pretty impressive for a "all-in-one" type of product!

Well, there ya go. All of the products that have been tempting me as of late. What do you have your eye on?
